Wow--you are so kind to say so! "Live in the layers" is what Stanley Kunitz wrote. I think its true --- and also a basic tenet of Judaism. What it would it be like to take an MFA now as some of my friends are doing? It should be like a driver's license where we get to renew it every 5 years.
